HP Notebook - 17z-y000 CTO

Just become aware of the vulnerabilities in BIOS (or whatever it is now called), and am trying to find out of HP has provided updates to fix the issues ... but when I search, nothing really comes up, so I figure I will ask here.

Supposedly, most computer manufacturers are supposed to be trying to fix the problem in Q1 2024. So I'm just trying to find out if A) they have provided fixes, and if so, B) how I can verify my computer has received the fix.

And on a separate, but annoying issue, is it really reasonable to be given roughly 10 capchas, just to be able to log in to my account here? Sheesh!
