HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all,

I have an HP Spectre x360 laptop which I've had for about a year and 4 months now. It had been working fine up until a couple months ago when it would randomly restart giving me a blue error message and then give me a "Boot Device Not Found" error telling me to install an operating system as well as a "Hard Disk - (3FO)" error. Usually after I do a couple component tests or try to restart it will turn on normally once again. When I did the tests during the time of the error, it would say there was no hard drive to do the test on, but when the laptop turned on normally it would always pass the test.

A week or two ago this error started occurring much more frequently, maybe every 5 or 10 minutes that the computer would finally turn on and boot up windows. I tried to redownload Windows 10 but during the process my laptop ran into that error and shut down, unable to finish the process. I even tried to download Linux but it would glitch out and then I would get the same error page.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea what the problem might be and could please help me? I'm outside the warranty period unfortunately so I was hoping for some advice on how to proceed. All the tests tell me that everything should be fine but these errors are relentless. Thank you!
