New HP Envy 15 x360-cn1000 5QZ58EA

Same problem - freezing on daily basis (like once every 6-12 hours in use). Only hard reboot fix it.

any error codes or does the screen just freeze and you gotta hard reboot.if so i suggest sending the laptop back to hp for a repair because reading this i think its a hard drive failure. it should be free seen that the laptop is brand new

Just freezes (nothing pops up, it just stands still) and all you can do is hard reboot. It occurs completely random - when browsing, working in word/excel/reading pdf.. The issue does not seem to be connected with usage of cpu/ram - as you say probably hard drive. Im going to return laptop next week.
