My computer said it needed to restart to work properly and i had pressed restart and now it is stuck in Preparing Automatic Repair and has been for the past 15 hours. I am unable to get to the blue screen with the options to fix it without a long struggle and when i tried to just erase everything it said my storage was too low and none of the other options are working for me either. I dont know what to do.

@AnimeLover Me too 😉

Welcome to HP Community!

here's a list of steps that have fixed the "Preparing Automatic repair" screen:

Solution 1. Perform a hard reboot

If your Windows cannot boot because of the "Preparing Automatic Repair" or "Diagnosing your PC" error, you can do a hard reboot. Remove the battery and AC adapter. Next, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and see if it will boot up normally.

If this method doesn't work, try the following solutions.
