Yesterday my laptop went into safe mode out of nowhere. I can’t do anything to get out of safe mode. I’ve went to recovery manager because I want to factory reset my laptop. But it won’t let me do that! The “system recovery” tab isn’t highlighted like the other options. I’m not allowed to click it. There’s literally nothing that I can do at this point. I’ve tried everything and have spent hours trying different things I’ve watched on YouTube or seen on the HP site. I just want to factory reset my laptop.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to clean install whatever version of Windows you have, so you can use your notebook again.
If you let me know what operating system you are running and the full model number or product number of your notebook, I may be able to help you further with that option.
