HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15t-eg000 CTO
Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop started crashing the day it arrived, but I just blamed it on windows 11 newness (I updated windows, and made sure an anti-virus was in place).  Unfortunately, by the 5th day after arrival it wouldn't boot up anymore.  I chatted with the HP repair team, and we attempted cloud recovery, which failed, so I sent my device to a repair center.  After they looked at it for a day, I got an e-mail saying it's user damage, and therefore not warranty.  The laptop was in perfect shape, fresh out of the box (no drops, no spills, not a scratch on it!).  I can't rule out shipping damage, but how can I get this repair escalated?  The support team won't even tell me what's wrong!

Hi, @rob123456789 really sorry to hear this.

As you said in the opening statement, the fault is with the Windows 11 Operating System.

Windows 11 is still fresh out of the developer's nest so there are bugs that are causing it to have driver issues and hardware problems.

See if this Phone Assist link will help you out.
