Hello, I encounter a problem with my HP Probook 450 G6 Notebook PC.
Every time I was using it, he was first of all loading the bios making a sound and asking for my bios password, then he was loading windows normally.
So I go in BIOS settings and find how to remove sound (this was a long time ago) but not the password.
Since it was still annoying, today I tried to remove completely the « asking bios password every time I launch it » problem by removing bios password.
So i go in bios settings select change bios password and change it by clicking enter directly so that bios password was deleted.
I save the changes and reload the computer and now the computer dont want bios password but want power on authentication that I never set.
I have a password in my windows and I remember my bios password but it doesn’t work on Power On Authentication password and I didn’t set any fingerprint so it doesn’t work as well.
I can’t use my labtop now because I don’t have this power on authentication password 😞
Is there any Power On Authentication initial password ?
Or can we skip power on authentication and enter bios ?
Or can I reset my bios settings from the Power On Authentication window ?
