Product: Hp envy 15t-k200

My laptop is asking for an administrator password and I dont know/remember it. Need help resetting it or getting rid of it please help!! Removing the cmos battery didn't do anything.  Thanks!

Removing the CMOS battery in laptops does nothing to reset the BIOS password.

 

I'm really sorry that we can not help you with this, but Community policy prohibits us from assisting you in any way with bypassing or resetting passwords.

If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard for BIOS password resets, you could take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do it for you -- but we are unable to assist in that.
