Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

 My laptop displays "Smart hard disk error. the smart hard disk check has detected an imminent failure." what do i do?

Hi:

 

That error means that the hard drive is about to fail, needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.

 

If you can still get into Windows, back up any files you don't want to lose as soon as possible.
