HP ENVY x360 - m6-aq103dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop is showing SMART Hard Disk Error when I boot it up. I ran a diagnostic test and it failed the Hard Drive SMART Check and gave me a failure ID.  I am not sure what to do with the failure ID or what I need to do to fix this. Because of COVID-19, I can't take the laptop anywhere to fix it.

@CatWoman5,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting a hard drive error on the startup.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

It looks like the hard drive on the computer is failed or failing and you need to get the hard drive replaced.

I recommend you contact support and they will assist you in this regard.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

P.S: Welcome to the HP Support Community 😊
