My system wouldn't accept that driver. I have an HP17-4025 that had coffee spilled on it. Replaced the motherboard with an exact model, now stuck with a new SSD that won't accept the driver. any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi:

If this is your notebook (there is no such model as a 17-4025)...

HP Laptop 17-by4025nr Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

...The PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W11, the drivers and the software that originally came with the PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility:  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support

Since you have to use another PC to install the tool on, you will need to enter the product number for your PC to create the recovery media, which is:  68W07UA#ABA

Hello. Sorry it is an HP-17by4025nr. I got the driver installed, thanks to your information here. My sophomoric experience  with computers (at age 72) was the stumbling block. Thank you very much!
