Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP laptop 14 with Windows 11. It quite often will not boot up properly. Instead of booting up, the screen will be black then flash about every 8 seconds. I have to hold the power button down about 20 seconds to get it to stop flashing. Took me three times of doing that this morning to get it to boot up. What could be wrong with it?
