HP Pavilion x360 - 15-bk193ms
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So this started after either a windows update or a bios update.

The screen starts flashing, acting like you are banging keys on the keyboard.

Is it the CMOS? BIOS?

How can I reset the CMOS or set the BIOS to the original?

How do you get to the advanced stuff in the insydeH20 advanced bios?

I used to love this thing and now its driving me crazy!

@JRData -- Is it the CMOS? BIOS?

Definitely not the CMOS. The CMOS is rewritable storage that stores the values one sets during BIOS Setup.

Probably not the BIOS settings.

Most likely is damage from a spill of something (cream/sugar/coffee, or sugary beverage) from a while ago that is finally drying-out, but causing a short-circuit in the electronics underneath the keyboard's key-caps that is causing the sending of "random" signals to the computer.

The first trouble-shooting step would be to physically disconnect the keyboard (not easy to do on a notebook computer), and connect a keyboard to any USB port, to see if the issue vanishes.

Then, search on eBay or Amazon to purchase an identical keyboard.

Probably, HP no longer has any inventory in their warehouse for your keyboard.
