I am facing black screen problem after my Hp Victus 15 fb0050ax was automatically updating it's BIOS. The adapter was plugged in but after reaching 90% the screen gone black and now it is not booting up. The laptop's get on and the cpu fans are running but the display doesn't lights up. Help me with this issue, as this laptop is just newly bought. As a student it is really needed in my daily routine. Please anyone try to connect with me as soon as possible. I tried pressing the windows + b key with power button but it is not working.

Hi @Akash158
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Experiencing a black screen issue after a BIOS update can be frustrating, especially when you rely on your laptop for daily tasks. Here are steps you can take to potentially resolve the issue:
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off your laptop completely. Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery if possible.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds to perform a hard reset.
- Reconnect the battery and AC adapter, then try powering it on.
BIOS Recovery:
- If the screen is still blank, try initiating a BIOS recovery:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press and hold the Windows key + B, and while holding, press the power button for 1 second.
- Continue holding the Windows key + B until you hear a Beep, or until the HP BIOS Update screen appears.
External Monitor Test:
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor to check if the issue is with the internal display. If it displays on the external monitor, the issue might be with the laptop's screen.
