I recently purchased a 'wiped' ElireOne 800 G2 and have attempted to load the drivers and Windows 10 from a boot disc and a USB. While the computer sees the information on the devices, the software does not load.

I've altered the boot sequence to no avail The only conclusion I have come to is that the Bios was corrupted.  The hardware is fully functional.

I am hoping that someone in this community would have the latest firmware update, so that I can attempt to resolve my issues.

Thank you in advance.

Here is the link to the latest BIOS update for your PC:

Personally, I don't believe that is the problem or the PC wouldn't even boot up with a corrupted BIOS.

What the problem could be that I do not know.

I recommend that you use the HP cloud recovery client software to build a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with the PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility:

I have already done so by DVD and USB. Unfortunately, they don't begin the process.

You're very welcome.

You have to 'tell' the PC what device to boot from.

What you do is this:

Have the W10 DVD you want to boot from in the DVD drive or have the W10 USB flash drive plugged into a USB port.

Turn on or restart the PC.

Immediately tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.

Select the F9 boot options menu and from that, select the CD/DVD drive, or USB flash drive, as applicable, and press the Enter key.
