HP Notebook - 15-af141dx (Touch)

I had recently reset my old HP Notebook laptop to give to a friend. I reset the laptop through bios with a flash drive and upgraded it to windows 11. In doing this the Bluetooth drivers were no longer detected. My guess was that the machine does not support windows 11 so I went to downgrade the laptop back to windows 10. In doing so the laptop ended up showing the Smart Check Failure code: GK7ST3-81GC6D-XD7WLK-60BS03 meaning my hard drive was about to fail which was odd to me because everything with the hard drive seemed to be working to me. Is there any way to fix this or did I accidentally fry the hard drive on the laptop.

If you're receiving a SMART failure with a code it's most likely that your hard drive is failing.  You can keep using it, but it's problematic and should be replaced with a working/new drive.  I would ensure any important data is backed up if you continue to use the drive as-is.
