Hi, I have a problem with my HP Pavilion - 15-cs0036nl purchased in November 2018.
My computer works perfectly and is very fast, but approximately every 10 days the Windows blue death screen appears and then the message "Boot device not found, install an operating system on your hard drive". If I press F2 to make the system diagnosis, as the screen tells me, the test tells me "No hard disk installed. Check that the power cable and data cable are connected correctly".
If I restart the computer by holding the power button the computer back to work normally!
I tried to format the computer but the problem continues to appear sporadically.
What do you advise me to do?

Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Community,
Let's try these steps here:
Perform a Hard reset on the PC:
Many startup errors and other problems can be resolved by decreasing the amount of power stored in hardware components. Decreasing stored power is sometimes referred to as a "Hard Reset". Use the following steps to perform a hard reset on a computer:
1. If Windows is open, click Start and then Shutdown.
If Windows is not open and the computer has power, press and hold the power button on the computer until the computer shuts off.
2. With the power off, disconnect the power cord from the back of the computer.
3. With the power off and the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the computer for 5 seconds. The power light indicator on or near the power button might turn on briefly but then go out.
4. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the power.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to Install the latest version of Hardware diagnostics from this link: Click here
Once done, I would suggest here is to run an extensive system test as well as an extensive test on the hardware drive from F2(Please remember to capture the failure ID for further assistance).
If the test fails, then this clearly indicates a possible hardware failure with the PC. In this scenario, I would personally suggest you contact our HP support team for further assistance.
If the test passes, I Would suggest here is to contact our HP support to order a set of recovery media for your PC.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Hi,
Kindly follow the suggestion to update the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics then run another test
F2 > Component test > Hard drive check > Quick test > Run once
Please provide the details of the test.

Thanks for your answers!
I ran the PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI and the result was passed.
I performed the complete system test with PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows and this is also passed.
I did the HARD RESET as suggested.
Also, I did the Windows restore and reinstalled the operating system ... let's see if the problem reappears.
