I went to turn my laptop on the other day and the computer did not boot. I noticed that there were 3 white blinking lights whenever I hit the power button. I tried to do the hard reset by unplugging ac power and removing the battery and then reinstalling the battery and holding the power button for 15 seconds but nothing happened. I also tried plugging directly into ac power with the battery out but the 3 white lights blinked again with no boot up or fan power. I tried removing and reinstalling the ssd with the battery out. I have read a lot about these laptops having the motherboard go bad. Is there a way to test to see if it is the motherboard? Has HP acknowledged that these mother boards are defective?
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the steps mentioned in your post, as I previously mentioned in my post. The only thing that happens is I get 3 white blinking lights and nothing else. I tried removing the battery from the computer and I get the same issue. I believe it is a motherboard issue but I do not how to test for that or where I could buy a replacement one. Thank you.
