Laptop is Out of warrenty:

Each time I satrted the laptop, a diagnostic message reported battery was starting to fail, so I purchased a replacement. If I was going to replace the battery I thought I would upgarde the SSD from 1TB to 2TB at the same time.

I did not clone the drive as I was going to move to windows 11 as well so thought we would go with a clean instalation.

Replaced battery and SSD and now it will not respond.

Screen is black, Power button flashes 3 seconds on then three seconds off.

I have rpelaced the original battery and SSD but it makes no diffeence.

There are a number of postings in this forum sugesting differnt key combinations (one which I think you need three hands to accomplish) but still nothing.

It must be something relatively simple but its driving me mad.

Any ideas what to try next ?
