Product: Spectre x360 15
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone, I tried to update my Spectre x360 to the latest BIOS so I could get the latest Windows update however when I did and it restarted it never came back on. All that happens is the cap lock flashes. I've tried the USB recovery with the BIOS and the win + b and win + v combination but nothing happens. I can't pull the battery because its internal. Any help would be much appreciated!

Same thing happened to me with my ZBook 15u G3 and I haven't been able to get it working 🙁

 

Some things you could try that I've found but didn't work for me:

  • Holding Up+Down+Esc when booting to recover the BIOS with Sure Start
  • Downloading an older BIOS version
  • Hard resetting the laptop (Unplug the AC adapter and hold Power for around 15 seconds)
  • Resetting the CMOS battery (if you're willing to open the laptop up)
