Hi guys, I bought my HP Spectre and also an extended 2 year warranty for it, 2 x months after the warranty expired, without any problems prior, the corner charging point started to become problematic/temperamental in that if I held the charging lead at an angle it would charge ok, if I didn't do this it wouldn't charge at all. I was recently in Bangkok and I took the laptop to a HP Service Centre who advised they could repair but I would have to leave with them and it would cost approximately £600+ as I didn't have sufficient time left before I returned to the UK I decided against leaving it. Can I ask if anyone else have suffered the same problems? the lead is not the problem as it charges ok on the side USB - C portal..Thankyou in anticipation of any help you can give. Terry

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing issues with the charging port of your HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ap0xxx as it cannot be connected securely to the port.
This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may require repair.
I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this web link
