HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-eb1043dx
Microsoft Windows 11

A couple days ago I was doing some work on my laptop and saw that there was an update for Windows 11 available. I figured I would go ahead and update it to get it out of the way.

I went ahead and started the update, which took almost an hour to download and install, which I found odd. From there, I restarted my computer and since then it hasn't been able to boot up once. I would turn it on, and the HP logo would come up with a solid line spinning wheel as if it was loading. I tried looking up fixes online and the only one I could find was to hit F10 to go into BIOS and try and Load Setup Defaults, which I tried a few times. The only thing that ended up changing was that the line became a bunch of dots going in the circle instead.

My computer hasn't had any issues like this before, and it's just over a year old so of course out of warranty. Anything that could be done?

There are many updates and upgrade to 22H2 . The upgrade may take hours depending on few factors. I did try to manually upgrade on 4 machines few weeks ago, all failed with same reason but no explanation

That was crazy, my machines run Windows 11 Home and Pro now. I posted on this forum and said MS upgrade had a bug.

Today, Windows updates gives me

I probably will have another try sometimes later. Probably I have to download newer ISO file.
