Hey so I’m need help with my laptop!
As mentioned in the subject line, the laptop doesn’t seem to be charging because the charging light doesn’t turn on. When I press the power button, the laptop doesn’t start but there is a white LED light that blinks 3 times.
I tried the solution with holding down the power button. I also tried holding down the power button and pressing the ESC key. But none of these worked for me.
I tried tried plugging the charger into different outlet and tried charging the laptop with the power bank charger. But that didn’t work either.
Does anyone have experience with something like this? And what did you do to fix it?
I have Geek Squad protection but would that cover this issue?
What can HP support do to help me?

Hi
Please try this:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.
Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat; Re-Connect the AC adapter.
NOW begin checking/testing/proving the Hardware is fit for purpose.
Power on your PC, press ESC (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).
