Spectre360

My Spectre 360 touchscreen just went to a blue screen with an error message that said it needed to restart and then it died. Will not turn on. What's going on? This computer has worked great since May 2016...please tell me my mother board didnt just die in a pandemic???

Hi @Suekvt

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

What model HP PC are you using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

Try a hard reset -

1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.
3) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.
4) Plug-in the Adapter.
5) Try to turn on the computer.

Let us run a test on the hardware components of the PC

  1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
  2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
  3. Perform System Test > Extensive test. Share the result on your next post.

For more info on resolving blue screen errors, kindly refer to this document.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
