Last time I used my laptop I didn't power it down, I just closed it up.  it's been a couple weeks since I used it.  I plugged it in and at first the light next next to the plug did not come on.  After several hours I could see the light on (orange color).  However, when I push the power button nothing happens.  I note the caps button light flash once and then after about 10 seconds the power light next to the plus on the laptop goes out.

If I unplug the powercord at the laptop and wait a few minutes and plug back in, the light will come back on (white color) but if I hit the power button same thing happens...cap button light flashes and 10 seconds later the light next to laptop power plugin goes out.

Please help...I am not tech savy enough to know if there is another way to reboot/turn on my machine.
