Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have recently upgraded to an Elitebook G10 with a USB-C Dock G5 with 2 external monitors.  With my previous G6 and 2013 Ultraslim Docking station I could power up the laptop from off with it's lid closed using the power button on the Docking station, however with the G10 and USB-C Dock G5 I don't seem to be able to do this and have to open the lid first and use the laptop's power button, closing the lid once the laptop has booted up. 

 

Am I missing something?

What is your Elitebook G10 ?  Is it compatible with your HP USB-C G5 dock ?

As far as I can tell it should be compatible, its included as one of the Dock options in the manual.
