HP x360 - 11-ab009la

Hi all,

my laptop when it turns on goes immediately to the language screen, yet when I go to troubleshoot the issue, it says HP cannot repair the issue and takes me back to the “troubleshoot/turn off your pc screen”. I was directed to the system restore yet when I go to click on that, it says that there isn’t any systems on window installation?

nothing on here seems to work.

@Jackd981,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not booting to Windows.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the operating system you are using?

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.

In terms of which windows operating system, I am unsure and can’t get onto my laptop to check. I would assume windows 10.

@Jackd981,

Follow the below steps to perform a hard reset.

  1. Turn off the computer.

  2. Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.

  3. Disconnect all externally connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.

  4. Disconnect the AC adapter from the computer.

  5. Press and hold the Power button for 8-10 seconds.

    NOTE:

    The designated button combination varies by model and production date. If the previous step does not work, refer to the User Guide for your specific model, or check the table of models listed in HP Notebook PCs – How to Power Reset Your Laptop for the proper button combination.

  6. Plug the AC adapter back into the computer, but do not connect any of the peripheral devices.

  7. Press the Power button to turn on the computer.

  8. If a startup menu opens, use the arrow keys to select Start Windows Normally, then press the Enter key.

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
