I am starting up my brand new omnibook and can't get past the initial start up questions - where I"m trying to loginto my microsoft account.  I have a "hotmail" email address and it lets me enter that but then just puts me into an eternal "loop" saying it can't help me right now and to try again later.  I can't even get past the set up screen Please help!  I've rebooted and turned it off many times and still get the same end result - the loop back to the same screen(s)

I recommend checking your internet connection on the setup screen, then signing in again or restarting the PC to repeat the setup flow. If issue remains, then bypass it.

Recommended Method:

1. Press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt (Always press Shift + F10 together, repeatedly pressing Shift may trigger Sticky Keys and cause confusion)

2. Type: OOBE\BYPASSNRO

3. Press Enter

4. System will restart

5. “I don’t have internet” option will appear

6. Continue setup using a Local Account

After you bypass the Microsoft account in setup and finish with a local account, you can log in to your Microsoft account later from inside Windows.
