HP Envy 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cw0000 (761Z0AV)

Every time I start my laptop I get stuck on the Automatic Repair problem screen. I can’t move past the screen because none of troubleshooting options or advance options have worked. I can’t even reset it.

Hi @Kristopher2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have trouble with the HP Envy 17.3-inch Laptop PC 17-cw0000 (761Z0AV), where the Pc gets stuck on the Automatic Repair problem screen and is not able to use it. Sorry to hear about the trouble.

Please try to run a hardware test on the Pc and let me know the result to help you better solve the issue.

Extensive Test

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
4. Click Extensive Test.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, as it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
