Good evening,
i just bought a Victus 16-r1005, i am trying to install windows 11 through a flash drive.
I have followed the usual installation steps, the first time as everybody said i elimated the partitions to proceed with the insallation, after an error in the windows installation and a reboot now i get stuck on the same screen.
In the screen "when do you want to install windows" i do not see any storage unit, moreover the pc says that there are no driver to look for storage units, in the official hp website for drivers, my model do not have a Driver-Storage section.
I am lost, i just wanted to boot up and enjoy ma new pc, please help me

Your Intel Core 13th gen processor requires the Windows installer to have Intel RST VMD driver to detect the storage drive.
You can download IRST driver from the link in the thread below and follow the instructions there for the Windows installation.
The driver is good for Intel Core 11 - 13th gen processors. You need to use Microsoft Media Creation Tool to make a bootable Windows installation usb drive.

I tried with the driver you suggested, unfortunately it did not solve the problem.
As always i have to uncheck the box "hide drivers not compatible with this computer hardware" to see the drivers, i tried both with no success.
I believe there is a specific driver for my model that i cannot find

The IRST driver (v.19.5.2.1049) you used should work for any PCs with Intel Core 11 - 13th gen processors. I don't know what your problem would be. Did you use Media Creation Tool to create the Windows installation media? The Windows installer didn't display any .inf driver files?
Yo can download the latest IRST driver from the Intel link and try again.
You need to use Intel-specified command line to extract IRST drivers. You can use the steps below to extract drivers and perform the Windows installation.
1, Download SetupRST.exe and copy it to the root of the C:\ drive.
2. Open command prompt as an administrator.
3.At the prompt type cd C:\ and click Enter.
4. Type SetupRST.exe -extractdrivers SetupRST_extracted and click Enter.
5. You'll see the "SetupRST_extracted" folder in the C:\ drive.
6. Double click the SetupRST_extracted folder and navigate to SetupRST_extracted\Production\Windows10-x64\19041\Drivers.
7. Double click the Drivers folder, and you should see the three folders. Copy all the files from the three folders to the root of a usb drive. There should be nine files altogether in the usb drive (don't just copy the three folders to the usb drive).
8.Connect the usb drive and a Windows installation usb drive to the notebook and boot from the Windows installation usb drive.
9. When asked where to install Windows, click Load Driver -> Browse -> usb drive with IRST drivers -> OK. Check the box to display compatible drivers.
10. Not sure how many .inf driver files will be displayed. Pick an iaStorVD.inf file and click OK.
Hopefully, the Windows installer detects the storage drive and performs the Windows installation.
