I've got a problem, as I rebooted my laptop after a update, and accidentally unplugged it (the battery wasnt connected at the time).

Now when ive come to restart the computer, its stuck on the Windows Update Screen saying: Configuring Windows Features 100% complete, Dont turn off your computer.

can some assist with this please??

Hi,

Try to shut down the PC again by holding the power button. Reboot the computer. It should fail to install updates.

Let me know,

Hi @Ryb

Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.

In addition to what @iomare posted, I would suggest you try using System Restore if nothing else helped.

Probably System Restore will help you.

1. Please, shutdown the computer using the power button pressed and hold for 5-10 seconds - complete shut down.

2. Power it back on by pressing the power on button

2.1 As soon as you press the power-on button, immediately start hitting the Esc button (like tap-tap-tap) before any HP or other logo appears

This should open a HP Startup Menu

3. Choose F11 for System Recovery options.

The computer should boot from it's recovery partition to open you various recovery options. Note, that F11 option will only work if the recovery partition is there (not deleted) and intact. From there, you have prenty of options to choose from. Every HP computer comes with recovery partition present to assist in tough moments.

Please, perform "System Restore" first in an attempt to fix the issue. Please, restore back to previous days (restore point) where the issue was not present. Here is more info:
