I  created recovery stick today in anticipation of HDD upgrade. This went smoothly without issues.

Later I got a hard a SDD hardrive installed . This was also trouble free.  The system booted, I changed the bios to boot from USB CD/ROM. It seemed to be stuck for couple times on blue screen with 2 options (reset/advanced or power off) but eventually gave me option to recover. The recovery process went up to 97% or so and then aborted with an error  ( not reason). Subsequent restarts result in the blue screen which ends with error 80004001 ....after the two option  ... reset/advanced and power off ...

I pressed F1 or F2 which took me to DOS like window with 4 options. The HDD test passed... the system recovery options puts me back in restarts cycle ...

All I have is the USB stick with recovery which does not seem to work ... what can I do now .... ?
