Stuck on restart

HP Recommended

Hi, my laptop required an update, following the instructions and have restarted my laptop and it is now stuck on a blue screen saying restarting but isnt doing anything. 
any info is welcome.

You didn't specify what kind of update, but I am going to presume it was a Windows Update -- and since the date/timestamp of this thread says you posted this three minutes ago -- that is not nearly enough time for such an update to finish.

 

You need to give it at least 30 minutes to see if it will complete -- and it might reboot a couple of times in the process.
