Try the following.
If the machine is currently running, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to force a shutdown.
Unplug the AC Adapter.
Hold down the power button continuously for 30 seconds and then release it.
Connect a external usb keyboard to the notebook.
Start the notebook and at the password prompt enter 64313834 using the external keyboard and hit enter.

Just to be sure, is the prefix still i or has it actually changed to I ?
I wouldn't expect the prefix to alter.
If it is still i, the code you require is 42438709
