Help please! How do I stop multiple articles from the Sun newspaper popping up on my desktop as soon as I log onto my laptop? I can click to close each window but I'd prefer not to see them at all.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting pop up from a newspaper as soon as you log in to the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.
- Click Start, and type msconfig.
- Select System Configuration from the search results.
- On the Services tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then tap or click Disable all.
- On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click Open Task Manager.
- On the Startup tab in Task Manager, look for the newspaper app and then click Disable.
- Close Task Manager.
- On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click OK, and then restart the computer.

Thanks for replying, I really appreciate your help.
Unfortunately there is no newspaper app on the startup tab of Task Manager.
And now the pop-ups are happening not just on start up but frequently as I use my laptop.
Any other suggestions please? The only options on the pop up news articles are an arrow to move through to various different articles or a box to view more details on the Sun's website. No right hand click or close options. So annoying not to know what is generating these.
Any other suggestions appreciated thanks.

I recommend you run a full scan on your computer and make sure there are no virus or malware. For malware, you can also use malware bite and run that on your computer.
If you continue facing the issue, then do a system restore back to the date when everything was working fine.
