Please help me, my HP 15-af105nl has bios password set but my son doesn't remember it...

It displays "System disabled" code [i 99124624]

Can you help me please?

Contact HP and they should be able to send you a customized SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.

So... I have contacted a few minutes ago HP assistance and they told me that the NB must be collected and returned to a technical center, after 3 weeks the will deliver the NB to my address. I told them about the SMC.BIN but they told me that they have no idea about it...

The call center that replied me is in Croatia...

Please help me, I need the NB for work

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

 

As I understand there is a message - "system disabled" on your screen and you need assistance with the same,

 

This seems to be a hardware issue, where the motherboard requires a tattoo/Bios Flash, which could happen only in the service centre.

 

Any other way of unlocking the BIOS is not authorized by HP. So I would suggest you contact our HP phone support to have the unit repaired. Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone numberCase number and phone number appear.

They will be happy to assist you immediately.
