@RK544 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand the boot options menu is showing up every time you turn on your device,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you make any changes within the system configuration utility?

Have you installed any updates that could have caused the issue?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

1. When you boot into Windows 7 click Start< Run and type msconfig and hit enter.
2. The System Configuration window will open, Select Normal Startup under General,
3. Now click the Boot Tab.
4. On the right side under Timeout, you will see a number in seconds.
5. Make sure the timeout is 0 seconds. If it is NOT 0 seconds, change the value to 0.
6. When done click Apply and Ok to close the window.
7. Reboot the computer for the changes to take effect.

@RK544

Thank you for the update.

Turn the computer On and keep tapping F2 repeatedly on startup to enter system diagnostics.

Once the computer is in system diagnostics, run a system test on your computer. Click here

If any of the tests fail, please contact our phone support team to check on the service options available for your computer.

If all the tests pass, shut down your computer.

Wait for a minute.

Turn the computer On and keep tapping F11 repeatedly on startup to enter HP Recovery Manager.

Select troubleshoot in the recovery manager.

Then Advanced options and then Command prompt.

You might be prompted to enter the password of your computer.

Run below commands in the command prompt.

bootrec /scanos

bootrec /fixMBR

bootrec /Fixboot

bootrec /rebuildBCD

You might be prompted press the Y button, please do so.

Restart your computer and enter the command mentioned below.

chkdsk c: /f /r /x

Your computer will restart couple times, please be patient.

Have a great day!

@RK544

Thank you for the update.

In that case, I would suggest you perform the cloud recovery

Performing the recovery you will lose the professional data and installed applications.

Have a nice day!!
