Pavillion Model 17-1065us

Hi HP community,

I have been seeing the following message when I start my computer lately.  Also, I had to change the date and time everyday recently.  Appreciate your input on how to fix this.  I can still use my computer.  It's not a problem.  I just don't know what this message is about.  Thanks very much!

The CMOS checksum is invalid.
The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted.
Please check your BIOS Setup options to see if they changed.
CMOS Reset (502)
ENTER - Reboot the system

I watched some YouTube video on the topic.  It kept referring to a CMOS battery.  I have a service plan with Staples, but not with HP.  Is this a HP specific part?
