Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello everyone.
I recently updated around 80 notebooks in the company (HP Probook 650 G8, HP Probook 455r G6, Elitebook 840 G5, Elitebook 840 G6 on HP 15 BS133NG).
The bios of the notebooks were also updated via the MS server.
Approximately 20 notebooks then no longer started and you could only hear the fan turning up (Probook / Elitebook)
I got 18 notebooks to run again using the familiar key combination Windows + V, Windows + B or using a flash stick.
It always depended on the second part of the PEIA update.
Now I still have an Elitebook 840 G5 which worked wonderfully before the update and now only boots up when it has been switched off for a few days.
Once it's running you can boot a few times and then the problem arises again: the notebook turns on, the fan turns up but the notebook no longer boots up.
Only when the notebook has been out of use for a few days does it turn on again and the game starts again.
I also have one of ten HP 15 BS133NG notebooks that has MS Windows 11 and Bios version F72. This notebook turns on, but won't boot up at all, even with the key combinations mentioned and the flash stick.
Does anyone here have a tip for me to get the notebooks running properly again?
So far I have only had this issue with HP notebooks.
best regards
