I am using Hp spectre x2 detachable. My laptop shut down automatically and when I turned it back on, it showed the selected boot device failed. Press" Enter" to continue. When I press enter, it shuts down. I have checked my hard drive for failure and all the test passed. I cannot go to system recovery as well. Please help!!!

Hi:
If the recovery didn't work and the hard drive test passed, the only suggestion I can offer would be to try clean installing W10 by using the Media Creation Tool at the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
You will be given the option to create a USB installation flash drive ( you will need an 8 GB flash drive for this).
The software will work with the W10 product key in your notebook's BIOS and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.
Then you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
