I fully resetted my computer due my screen being stuck or either with a virus. After i set up my computer i entered a new password. Soon enough i forgot my password. I dont got a disk or usb with a recovery thing. So i decided to reset again. But now i get a "There was a problem resetting your PC - No changes where made". So now am assuming it has something to do with a ISO IMAGE OR FILE missing. So i cant reset my computer and i dont have the disk or usb for passcode assistance. What do i do??????????

Hi,

Disable/remove the Antivirus program temporarily and try to reset your notebook again. If still facing the same problem, HP Recovery drive might be damaged or some files are missing from it due to viruses.

In this case, you need to reinstall windows using windows iso image.

I too have faced this issue before. I followed the steps I shared below to fix There was a problem resetting your PC error.

One of the following steps will sort out the problem:

1.Scan For Corrupted System Files
2.Recover Your Windows
