Hello,

I'm having an issue where my Laptop occasionaly tells me, on start-up, that a thermal shutdown occured. The thing is that the Laptop didn't overheat and that I shut it down normally. I monitor the temperatures and they are around 85°C, so there isn't any problem there.

Anyone know what the reason is for this behaviour?

@TKaya,

Create a local user or administrator account and let me know if the issue persists,

Click here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026923/windows-10-create-a-local-user-or-administrator-acc... for Create a local user or administrator account.

Keep me posted.

Isn't the standard account on a private PC an administrator?

HP Recommended

@TKaya,

This is to check if the account is corrupted or problem with the operating system.

Keep me posted.

Have a great day!

Cheers 🙂
