I have a problem with the touch on my device, even though the touch appears in the task manager, and the operating software has been updated to the latest version 19.0.19.68 HP. I hope to solve this problem. Thank you in advance. PROBOOK 430 G2

Hello.
Your laptop touchpad has an on/off switch built into the touchpad. On the upper left corner of the touchpad lies is a small area where a double tap enables/disables the touchpad. The touchpad may have an amber led to indicate that the touchpad is disabled.
To exclude software problem (Windows, drivers, etc) reboot your laptop and keep hitting the ESC key when HP logo is shown. Select either F2 - Diagnostcs or F10 - BIOS Settings. If the touchpad works on either environment, then the hardware is functioning fine and the problem lies somewhere in Windows. If the touchpad does not work, check the BIOS settings in Advanced tab -> Built-In Device Options whether the Touch Device (or similarly named) is enabled or not.
