I am trying to turn Legacy Boot mode on, so I can Dual Boot my machine with Ubuntu. (Some of the tools use for GCP don't work very well with Windows, as Windows keep updating things which break my admin settings, so I need Linux on the machine as well, for a stable GCP website development environment).

Unfortunately, none of the instructions found here match my version of the HP Management Software (for the BIOS), thus the Legacy Mode doesn't come up for me. Have HP removed the option of Legacy Boot Mode from the Management software?

I think I have been in the Boot Menues 20 times now, trying diffent settings in order to turn OFF UEFI Secure Boot, in order for the Laptop to Recognise and accept a USB stick with Ubuntu on it.

Back in the days I would have just done a format of the harddrive and started from fresh (without the HP Software that seem to mess things up).
