I have a new HP laptop and I am trying to change the boot order to a USB drive in the BIOS but every time it boots up it reverts to the Windows OS, It does have a black indicator next to the Windows OS selection and I am not sure if you can change that to the USB selection.  Any help would be appreciated!

@AngloSaxon1,

Try the F9 boot options menu to boot from a usb drive.

Turn on the notebook and immediately hit the F9 key repeatedly.

Select a usb drive in the menu and hit the Enter key to boot from the usb drive.

If you don't see a usb drive in the menu, it means that the BIOS doesn't detect the usb drive as bootable.

Thanks for your suggestion. I had tried that but it was unsuccessful. However after quite a bit a research I found that if I disabled ‘Secure Boot Policy’  it would allow me to boot to the usb. When I was done I just enabled it again.
