My HP 15-af131dx wont let me boot from a live bootable flash drive. I was able to boot from the flash drive on my hp mini 110, and in the past I have ran Ubuntu on a flash drive and it worked fine. What should I do?

Hi @HPlaptop51,
Thank you for post at HP Forums!
I have read your post and wanted to help. I understand that you want to boot from a USB drive on your HP 15-af131dx. Please try to access the Boot Device Options, and select boot from USB drive.
To access the Boot Device Options, turn on the computer and immediately press the esc key to display the Startup Menu, and then press the F9 key. The USB drive may not appear in the Boot Device menu at all, unless such an optical disc reader or USB drive is enabled, plugged in, and holds a bootable media source.
Let me know how it goes.
