My Omen 16 device, wont boot anymore with the Battery only. Once I click on power button the mini led near the charger input white flashing twice. and it does nothing.
So I need to plug it in to AC in order to turn the laptop on.
After, I turn the pc on with the AC plugged in, still using the pc without AC.. and the battery level still FULL and does not decrease while usage..
I've done the USB Bios recovery. but the same issue still exist.
I did a battery check, and it shows that it's not detected.
I hope I've presented the details conveniently, Please help.
thank you in advance.

Hi @4mehdi,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there could be an issue with the battery or the battery connection on your Omen 16 laptop. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Reset the Battery: Sometimes, the battery connection can become loose. Try turning off your laptop, unplugging the AC adapter, removing the battery (if it's removable), and holding down the power button for about 30 seconds. Then, reinsert the battery, plug in the AC adapter, and try turning on your laptop again.
- Check Battery Settings: In your laptop's power settings, ensure that there are no settings preventing the battery from charging or being recognized.
- Update BIOS and Drivers: Ensure that your laptop's BIOS and drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause issues with battery detection and charging.
- Hardware Check: If the issue persists, it's possible that there's a hardware problem with the battery or the laptop's power management system.
- Factory Reset: As a last resort, you could try performing a factory reset on your laptop to rule out any software-related issues. Make sure to back up your important files before doing so.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's likely that there's a hardware problem with your laptop's battery or power management system.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hey
Thank you so much for responding.
I confirm that I've tried these paths :
Reset the Battery
Check Battery Settings
Update BIOS and Drivers
- and for the last 2 ones,
Hardware Check : I've tried to use HP diagnostic tool from the bios.. but it shows that there is "No battery detected".
Factory Reset : for this option, did you mean to perform a Windows System Reset. (Even though, the battery is not recognized on Bios system settings.)
What about doing a Bios ROLLBACK to the previous version (this to verify that the issue is not bios-related), could this cause potential issues ?
