Dear HP Community,
I have a problem with my Notebook, whenever I tried to turn it on, it says CMOS Reset (502) and ask me to restart and check the BIOS setup option to see if they change, after the restart I am able to boot in to my OS. However, if I try to enter BIOS setup options they only display black screen with "_" text on top left corner and Virtual Keyboard on the bottom left.
the Virtual Keyboard seems working fine, but it doesn't respond to any input I gave.
Prior to this problem, It was my sister laptop and she explain that it used to turn off on it self and wont boot properly, she turn it to repair shop, and they said it was BIOS problem that prevent windows to boot properly, they try to reinstall the windows but always failed and said it was unrepairable, the proceed to install linux fedora on it and return it to us.
now, on the Linux, it is working fine when able to boot to the OS, but always displaying the CMOS 502 and failed to enter BIOS setups menu.
I have tried to do BIOS Recovery based ob the HP Help support I get from the CMOS 502 error code but unable to enter the BIOS Recovery mode even with USB bootable.
My Product is ENVY X360 CONVERTIBLE 13 AY-0008CA
Would be very happy to have recommendations from any of you guys. Cheers.
