I have 2 3200MHZ 8gb ram, on the task manager it shows me the speed of 2667MHZ, trying a bit to change the speed you have to use the advanced bios, which is locked on hp notebooks in general, I wanted to ask how it can actually be unlocked. I don't want answers like that can damage the pc or **bleep**. I bought a pc and I want to use it as I like, or I will proceed to refund it and buy a different brand that has the advanced bios. Thanks.

At this writing,
The Advanced section of the BIOS is unlocked in HP commercial / business class computers.
The Advanced section is locked in most (all??) consumer grade models.
I do not have a personal opinion on what you do to your computer - it's hardware.
True, you should do what you think is best for your situation.
If the BIOS Advanced section can be unlocked on your system you will not find the method here in the Community.
We do not / cannot post any information that breaches system security.
