Howdy. I recently was given a HP Laptop 14z-dk100 from a friend and I would like to turn it into a mini homelab. Upon installing Debian linux I realized the machine has 12GB of RAM however the OS only reads 8GB (I am assuming due to shared VRAM.) However there is no option to change the amount of shared RAM in the bios of the laptop and I've done some googling and from what it seems the model's bios is just locked. I am curious if there is anyway to "unlock" the bios so I can set the shared RAM to something like 512MB as I don't need a GPU for what I plan on doing.
